Carol Anania, M.D.

Dr. Carol Anania is nationally recognized as one of today’s ”Best Doctors” by Castle Connolly. She started her medical career as a graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine, where she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After graduation, Dr. Anania completed a highly selective Society of Reproductive Surgeons fellowship at the Women’s Hospital of Houston for Gynecological Reproductive Surgery, and later a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Anania is double-board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She remains actively involved in the medical community. She is a prior Clinical Assistant Professor at Tufts School of Medicine, and has been  involved with teaching OB/GYN residents at the Boston University School of Medicine. Her specialties include a wide range of reproductive problems and include treatment of ovulatory disorders, endometriosis, fibroids, hormone dysfunction leading to infertility, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), fertility preservation and family building options for individuals without partners or couples who need some assistance with this option.

Outside of medicine Dr. Anania, pursues a number of outdoor activities including skiing, rock climbing, hiking and completed a CYT 500 program. She enjoys traveling, photography, and meeting people from all backgrounds and cultures around the world.
