John Petrozza, M.D.

Dr. John Petrozza is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist with more than three decades of experience helping individuals and couples build their families. He joins Fertility Centers of New England after serving as Chief of the Division of Reproductive Medicine and IVF and Director of the Massachusetts General Fertility Center, where he was a leader in patient care, research, education, and innovation in reproductive medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr. Petrozza has been dedicated to advancing fertility care while providing compassionate, individualized treatment to patients facing infertility and other reproductive health challenges. His clinical interests include in vitro fertilization (IVF), fertility preservation, recurrent pregnancy loss, endometriosis, fibroids, reproductive surgery, and complex fertility conditions.

Known for his thoughtful and collaborative approach, Dr. Petrozza believes every patient’s journey is unique. He works closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based medicine while ensuring they feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their care.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Petrozza has contributed extensively to reproductive medicine research, physician education, and innovations that have helped expand access to fertility care. He has held academic appointments at Harvard Medical School and has been recognized nationally for his leadership in the field.
