A recent study published in the Journal of Nutrition (2014;144(7):1091-8) suggested that eating fish instead of other meats was associated with better sperm parameters including count and morphology than seen in men who ate more red meats than fish. Another interesting finding in this study that was that men who consumed proportionally higher amounts of processed meats had the lowest sperm parameters. This may be due to the preservative agents or hormonal residues in processed meat. These finding agree support previous findings that consumption of organic diets are associated with higher sperm quality. So, enhance sperm by choosing salmon over pepperoni.
